Integrated Risk Insurance Brokers Limited announced their flagship initiative ‘Mee Annapurna’ two weeks ago. The scheme has generated huge momentum across the state of Maharashtra. The application for enrolment of Field Executives is likely to be opened across the state on Thursday, June 08, 2020. Integrated, a renowned IRDAI Licensed Insurance intermediary has scaled up its operations in the Agriculture Business by recruiting Suresh Patil as the National Head of Agriculture Business.

Suresh Patil (M.Sc Agriculture, AIII) is a veteran with more than 38 Years of Public Sector Experience. He retired from the India’s Largest General Insurance Co., The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. as the Chief Manager – Crop, Rural, Micro & Horticulture Insurance based out of Mumbai HO. He was responsible for handling a premium in excess of USD 1Bn under PMFBY scheme.

“Mr. Patil’s association shall empower the company to promote its initiatives with higher efficiency & effectiveness. Mr. Patil brings in rich experience having dealt with processing of yield based claims, weather based claims, localized claims of inundation, hailstorm & high-wind, witnessed crop cutting experiments, ground trothing in disputed claims, reinsurance & more. We are extremely excited to enter the market with revived capabilities & mammoth opportunities” said Dr. J H Rusat, a Senior Official of Integrated Risk Insurance

Speaking with the bureau Suresh Patil said “I am extremely happy to have joined IRIBL with the young blood in the work force who are energetic, vibrant & ambitious. The team is fully conversant on the subject of crop insurance & they are now ready to be deployed on the ground in the noble cause of creating awareness amongst our farming community in the ensuing kharif 2020 season. They will explain the benefits of crop insurance scheme & create confidence in the farmers to protect their unforeseen crop losses due to natural calamities & encourage them to enroll under PMFBY. Now, the scheme is made voluntary for both Loanee & Non Loanee farmers & being the 1st season of kharif 2020 with this revision, enrollment of farmers would be a herculean task. Now with IRIBL ‘s team, the task would be possible with sound underwriting & greatly help the insurance companies in better underwriting & better claims management”

With constantly challenging dynamics Integrated appears to be uniquely positioned to provide long-term sustainable solutions to Insurance Companies & its beneficiaries through awareness, technology & on-ground support
